Cybersecurity Operations Intern

Job Description:
✔️ Assist in monitoring firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and antivirus solutions.
✔️ Conduct basic vulnerability scans and security audits.
✔️ Support incident response and log analysis.
✔️ Document security alerts and create daily reports.
✔️ Learn and apply network defense mechanisms.
✔️ Participate in phishing awareness and training programs.
✔️ Help manage user access controls and permissions.
✔️ Observe penetration testing processes.
✔️ Study compliance standards like ISO 27001 & GDPR.
✔️ Assist in drafting security policies and procedures.
✔️ Collaborate with IT teams for endpoint protection.
✔️ Identify and escalate potential threats.
✔️ Support encryption and backup management.
✔️ Help maintain SIEM dashboards.
✔️ Participate in forensic analysis tasks.
✔️ Work with cybersecurity tools (Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk).
✔️ Assist in patch management processes.
✔️ Create cybersecurity awareness materials.
✔️ Attend daily SOC briefings.
✔️ Contribute ideas for system improvements.
